Jane Sibley Oskoreia
Please Join CTCW’s Otherworldly on Zoom this Wednesday, November 29th, at 8 PM Eastern time.
This Wednesday we’ll be talking about the The Oskoreia and Norse winter Traditions. Yule wasn’t all fun and games in the old days. Of course there was feasting, greenery, and celebration, as well as the Wild Hunt (Oskoreia), processional drama, creating New Fire, and more. We will look at the folklore, folk medicine, rituals, and how people lived in rural Scandinavia during the dark time of the year. Both Pagan and Christian aspects will be explored.
Our guest this week will be Jane Sibley, one of the founders of CTCW, MithraCon, and Auntie Arwen’s Spices, and expert on Norse supernatural history and practices: runes, folk lore, ancient healing, Norseworking, metallurgy, and more.

People are psychic, magick is real, ghosts and other spirits exist, and people can heal with energy. Each culture around the world had come up with ways to explore these realities, and that’s great, we can learn from each other, that’s how we change the world.
Changing Times Changing Worlds is dedicated to fostering communication between all who are aware of the greater reality. In November we have the conference, and we are considering adding other events and activities. Every Wednesday, join us on Otherworldly, featuring many of our speakers, and topics. We hope you can join us Wednesday at 8. If you miss this show, the recordings are posted on Youtube Thursday or Friday.
