Classes and workshops are at the heart of the conference, and we are always amazed at the quality and variety of the offerings we are able to present. It is always a challenge to choose!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are oriented towards intermediate and advanced classes. This doesn’t mean that beginner level classes are out of the question, just that it is not our main focus. We welcome both lecture presentations and hands-on, practical workshops. Our theme this year is “Wisdom from Without and Within”. We invite you to submit proposals with that theme in mind, but it is not required. If you have a great idea for a class or workshop, go ahead and submit it!

ABOUT THE CLASS ACCEPTANCE PROCESS

• The Programming Committee will review your submission, taking into consideration other proposals we receive, when (and if) a similar topic has been offered, and how much interest our attendees are likely to express.
• You will receive an email after the Committee makes a decision. Please be patient; we promise we will let you know as soon as we can. That email will tell you which of your proposals have been accepted.
• We post information about our speakers on our website and on our social media platforms. In order to do that, we need a short bio and image from each speaker. The image could be a head-shot photo, or the cover of a book you have written. You can upload the files with this form, or send them later.  Please note that until we receive these things, your speaker submission is considered incomplete, and we are unable to announce your participation properly. 
• This form will also serve as your conference registration form, IF your classes are accepted. If your classes are not accepted, you will need to complete the registration form available on this page: CTCW Conference 2024 | Changing Times Changing Worlds

Accepted speakers and presenters are eligible for discounted registration as follows:

•  Featured Presenters/Headliners are invited personally by the Changing Times, Changing Worlds Programming Committee. 
• Virtual Presenters will receive one free virtual conference track registration, full access to our Virtual Track of classes, and link placement to their websites and/or selling platforms in our program and website. 
• All other in-person Presenters are eligible for the following:
  • Present one class and you will receive 50% off of your full conference registration (calculated at the time of your class submission), and link placement to your website and/or selling platform in our program and website.  
  • Present one class and two additional programming offerings and you will receive one free full conference registration, and link placement to your website and/or selling platform in our program and website.  Note that the additional programming may be an additional class (at our discretion), panel participation, performance, or ritual offering.

We request that anyone submitting a Speaker Proposal wait for notification of acceptance to pay for their conference registration.  You will be invoiced by Changing Times, Changing Worlds.

We would love to be able to make this conference completely disability-friendly for everyone, but in reality, our budget will not cover that.
