There are so many different views of the afterlife: Heaven/Hell (and purgatory), Reincarnation, Greeks had several possible options, and we often seem to see other people’s options through our own cultural filters.

What are your views of the afterlife? Do you have personal reasons for this view. This is meant to be a discussion, like a CTCW panel. If I’m the only one talking, it’s going to be pretty boring, simply a folkloric recapitulation of some of the traditions.

So we want everyone to join in and share your views. Have you had glimpses of past lives? Have you done past-life regression? Have you come up with a new version of whatever story you were raised with? Have you combined aspects of several different theories?
One thing is certain, we are not going to settle the question tonight, but we should have a fascinating discussion.
