Class Spotlight: Offerings
Gifts for the Divine: The Art of Making Offerings
Why make offerings to the Gods? What sort of offerings are appropriate for what deities? Should you eat food offerings afterwards, or burn or bury them? What about shopping for Gods? Crafting items to order? We’ll talk about all the wonderful ways you can gift the Powers you love.
This class will be by Raven Kaldera: Northern Tradition shaman, herbalist, astrologer, polyamorous transgendered intersexual, homesteader, and founding member of the First Kingdom Church of Asphodel. He has been a practicing shaman for almost two decades now, and is an activist for everything he believes in. He is the author of 44 books, including the Northern-Tradition Shamanism series, MythAstrology, Pagan Astrology, Dealing With Deities: Practical Polytheistic Theology, and Hermaphrodeities: The Transgender Spirituality Workbook. ‘Tis an ill wind that blows no minds.
This year Raven will also be presenting Dealing with Deities: How to Manage a Polytheistic Pantheon. (Hint: some get along great with gods from other cultures, some don’t play well with others.)
