I was surprised how hard it was to find an image of balance and love where the love was illustrated as equal. Sure, one shouldn’t be measuring and comparing who loves who more, but there should be a balance, a constant give and take, and flow. In my mind our little manikin’s arms are in motion, up and down, and the love does balance over all, even if at any given moment it looks unbalanced.
Join Tchipakkan and CTCW speaker Thor Halvorson as they talk about divination as an approach to tarot, symbology, culture, and identity. There are not quite as many ways of using the Tarot cards as there are those who use them (although some might say there are more, as many of us use them in more than one way), so let’s look at a few.
We’re going to try to cover active and passive divination, active including scrying, tarot, reading tealeaves, runes, trance, etc. Talk about philosophy, history, cultural impact, symbolism, intuitive vs more intellectual approaches, divine interaction and natural divination, and we’ll probably jump from one to another of these subjects. Please feel free to call in if you have questions:
